WealthScouts is being designed as a longitudinal K–12 experience. Learners would revisit enterprise, practical financial concepts, cooperation, and community responsibility at increasing levels instead of repeating the same lesson year after year.
Each cycle connects ideas to practice: learners create something of value, test it with other people, review the results, and carry what they learned into the next challenge.

What must be ready before a first full cohort begins?
York XL intends to build a funded first-year pilot rather than rush an incomplete program. That work includes:
- age-appropriate curriculum and materials;
- trained teachers, facilitators, and youth-support roles;
- family communication, enrollment, consent, and intake;
- measurement and reflection tools;
- legal, financial, custodial, and safeguarding guardrails;
- market and capstone experiences; and
- funding sufficient to deliver the full commitment.
What would young people learn?
The curriculum would combine enterprise, practical financial understanding, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, reflection, community awareness, and age-appropriate leadership.
How would young people practice leadership?
With adult guidance, youth could take responsibility for team roles, communicate ideas, respond to feedback, help solve problems, and support younger participants.
How does WealthScouts connect to adult EPIC WealthBuilders opportunities?
WealthScouts is intended to prepare young people for informed adult participation in enterprise, cooperative ownership, and other EPIC WealthBuilders pathways.
When will enrollment open?
